What I'm seeing is that balanced builds allow you to run balanced O (and D as it seems from Detroit Leos comments). That balance is being buffed a lot via Play Diversity Bonus directly and play calling.

Also, I don't think people understand all of the strengths of their team and then build to exploit that. It's hard. There's no manual. It's a lot of trial and error.

I am really enjoying the hybrid defense and running more zone or man play calls depending on situations. It is pretty nice. The player builds could use some improvements though if we ride a hybrid defense again down the road when BSB resets. We will see though.

As to this... Leo convinced me to restart a season earlier than I attended with the same D concept. Mixology is a trial and error team for sure. The ability to switch between zone and man is very nice and has helped me a lot thus far. I do see more teams following this route down the road. Nebraska is doing it in rookie and it's an updated version of D from my Mixology team.

I back from holidays by the sea I was away for a week I admit I just got my playbook to play vs logzilla and got it set. But I did not upgraded it as I always do vs good teams. Not gonna happen again Anyway- great win!

This is part of what I had been alluding to in regards that there are some universal truths in templates, etc and building/running to scheme in other threads.
