Official OMVP- Gridiron WR BeetleJuice ' Who should have won? Kool-Aid QB Kiwi Strawberry who's timely passing and wise decision making gave the Jammers the early lead which they never gave up.
Official DMVP- Kool-Aid DE Razzle Dazzle, Led team in sacks and added 3 hurries, had a fumble recovery as well as caused one and two tackles for loss. Honorable mention LB Scary Berry.
Official STMVP- HB The Wolfman Not much to say here. He got plenty of chances I guess.
Two fairly well matched teams as Gridiron Goolies were the odds on favorite having the top ranked offense. They were mediocre in passing but led the league in rushing and scoring. Their defense was also top notch against the run and stingiest when it came to allowing points. Kool-Aid for their part held an edge in passing proficiency and an even slighter edge in coverage defense.
As it turned out those slight edges for Kool-Aid proved to be the difference as they nickle and dime to death the vaunted Goolie D while their own Defense made Gridiron one dimentional, holding them to under 100 yards rushing and the coverage contained any Goolies passing comeback until it was too late in the fourth.
