I know the team's morale was so bad they were ready to call the suicide hotline, but its still funny.

It's weird to me that low morale makes a QB not throw the ball

Do you see anyone even open? Zone covers all that up.

Further, do you see anyone past the 1st down sticks? The QB doesn't seem to even have the choice to throw on the ball 3rd down situations unless the throw will result in a 1st.

Wish they would fix this. I would actually pass on 3rd and long if the QB would throw short of the 1st down. As it stands now, everybody runs on 3rd and long and it is easy to stop.

This hasn't been consistently true in Vet. Once builds have been completed there are teams that gamble and go for long throws on 3rd and Long now.

And for zone that's an easy pick or sack/forced fumble

YAC isnt really a thing so idk why youd want to do that
