I had a CPU team run QB rollout a ton on me a couple of games ago. They actually had me kinda worried for a bit there. The team is owned by Bulter now, but at the time it was CPU.

QB had 18 rushes. More than both the teams HBs and their FB combined. Is it possible that this team was running off a previous owners playbook or something? Is that even possible? Or was I just extremely unlucky and happened to get 18 QB rollouts?

Had to have been bought by butler before your game for QB rollouts, cpus don't have that trick in their book. Team is all cpu players though.

Pretty sure the old playbooks are dumped when the team goes cpu, maybe I'm wrong - butler did seem to install a new offense for the scrimmage today.

Going by the date everyone suddenly got a high contract it looks like Butler bought the team the day after though. I'm telling you these CPU team are becoming sentient bro

Team was created this season, butler may have just been sitting on his hands about doing much with the team since he doesn't have players to put on it.

Awhile back, they randomized the playbook that a CPU team would have.

It's fine for competing against them but it sucks in Legends where the playbook changes every season and you're trying to keep your players on for multiple seasons due to the slow Chemistry accrual (only 14 games).

FWIW when I bought the team the offensive playbook was set to WILDCAT

Also today was the first game (ladder or league) that I’ve been in charge of this team, so the CPU was definitely spamming QB runs from the WILDCAT playbook before then.

I guess I'm mistaken then, I thought cpu teams always ran balanced.
