This is literally the second time in the same game that this has happened. Instead of playing the ball the receiver just watches it, which keeps allowing the defense to pick it off

After watching that game, Kentucky must be nerfed 💀

That is crazy. What is his Receiving Awareness? The ball basically travels through his head

There's several things that could be going on there, but it's hard to really tell which it is due to the limitations of the replay. He could have just completely whiffed his catch check and didn't even touch it. The defender could have also just made it to the ball before the receiver got a chance. Maybe the defender stuck his hands through the receiver and snatched it away.

Either way, it seems the receiver was playing the ball, he turned around and tried to get into position. What happened from there is hard to tell.
