I think I've made up my mind to buy a team for next season and my question is, when is the best time to buy a team to get it ready for the upcoming season?

During this season's playoffs or the day after playoffs end? (or some other option?)

You can buy it right now if you wish. Just make sure to check the reset option once it exists.

Wouldn't he get charged for two seasons then? As opposed to just waiting until the upcoming offseason?

That's what I was thinking.

Wait till the offseason, then wait a day or two longer till all the reset powerhouse teams have settled into one tough league. Then you can buy a team in a little less competitive league (at least for rookie) to buy yourself some time to iron out our playbooks and strategies before being thrown to the wolves....

This is a good idea if you are looking for less league competition. It’s kind of a do you want easy league or easy ladder games. If his team has an artificial win count from league games he will face the very top teams in the ladder, possibly multiple times.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I'd like to splash around the shallow end as long as possible to learn the ropes before jumping in with the sharks.
