Thats how the power through SA is supposed to look lol im curious on why he ran straight into the second defender even though being blocked already. Is that from using full power running that makes him almost try to hit a player since elusive trys to run away from players?

Isn't that carrying awareness and return awareness?

P. Much

Elusive running is how good you are at breaking elusive tackles and fooling people with hard cuts, power running is how good you are at breaking power tackles and carrying momentum into and out of the tackle interaction.

I think this is an action of the back trying to decide whether he should go inside or outside on the block and just kinda never making up his mind, but this seems to be a problem in general with pathing as even high awareness guys fall into the trap sometimes. I think it has to do with the block being very turbulent and the defender is breaking away a lot - but not enough to fully disengage. So the HB keeps trying to decide whether he needs to avoid the guy and where he should cut to do so - and just ends up moving that way to keep his options open - eventually just running into the blocking interaction itself or right next to it.

I'm not 100% on that though, that's just my best guess for why it happens.

Interesting, so the quality of the block helps the back with his awareness to see the lane. "Perfect" block gives him the lane, a blocking battle with a defender where they keep engaging and disengaging makes him think he still needs to maneuver around the defender.

Plain an simple:better blocking better holes to run through lol

From my experience, regardless of awareness- if you set your tactic to Power- the HB will just plow into people.

Also, I think they have made return awr pretty ineffective on purpose- the less returns for TDs the more realistic and novel it is.

Thats what i was thinking. We have both a power and elusive HB, the elusive will run out of bounds some times just trying to avoid defenders, the power it seems runs straight at a defender. Im guessing the power running style needs that "down hill momentum" to be trully effective. So the lower their head and drive ha
