Not really. Awareness to hit wide receivers fast, and consitency to handle pressure downs and blitzes are more important to me. But it really depends on the type of passes you're using. I do a lot of play action, pump fake, and like receivers who head fake defenders, so awareness makes more sense.

Accuracy is great with speedy receivers in 3,4,5 WR sets

Personally speaking I am being plagued by drops. And I mean like wide open drops. My receivers are built really well at this level for my scheme so I figured “hm, probably this Russell Wilson wannabe QB” but no matter how much tech I keep pumping in it gets worse.

Normally I’d be all for waiting, but I run a west coast team so my guys are literally only built to catch and go. My problem with the drops is that my guys are religiously catching passes in some questionable windows, it looks like college football out there.

Have I created a group of egotistical maniacs? Why are my guys constantly dropping the ball deep when open (and I mean open, no “defense blah blah” talk I’m talking straight drops) but want to make catches over 2-3 defenders..

Please, your ideas?

I would put the QB's passing Tech on his end, then add in the Hands/Rec Consistency on a WR that's wide open. In the match ups where he is fighting defenders, I'd say it goes QB passing tech, then Hands/CIT/Deflecting rolls is my guess... Rec Consist prob still factors but not nearly as much as it does in a wide open pass.
