Sorry if this has been addressed before, I could not find it in the last two years of posts.
Essentially, the end of halves are traditionally a time when coaches may look merely to go for a FG and not worry about driving the ball all the way into the end zone if it is not realistically feasible. If a team is 3, 6, 9(whatever arbitrary # you want) yards out of max FG range and less than 1:30, 1:00, 0:30(whatever arbitrary time you want) left in the half, it would be nice to have an option to play for the small yardage as opposed to running the same 3 minute offense that you would run 30 yards away from max FG range. A lot of games end with a 3 point difference. To have had the opportunity to kick a FG at the end of the first half, or change the strategy at the end of the 2nd half, may have possibly resulted in a different outcome. I believe that this would help bring more realism to the game, and hopefully would not be too hard to add into the situational coding.
Anyway, as the forum title says, it's just a suggestion. Thanks for keeping the game online and doing a great job the past 10 years.
