On my team, *all* the DTs cover kickoffs

As for Loose, I knew what I was getting when I recruited him: a power-disrupt-style DT. Interesting concept, and it worked, imo. He's doing what he was built to do- which is to create more opportunities for the LBs and DEs without getting sucked into the Tunnel Vision vortex.

It made me do some thinking about what I want at both the DT and the DE positions.

Yeah my opinion on the DT position is that unless it's a superstar, his main job is to grab bodies in the middle and prevent the QB being able to 'step up into the pocket' on the pass rush - while being alert and powerful enough to quash any run game up the middle. I've always though a good DT shouldn't have a ridiculous stat line. The power really helps to demoralize offensive lines with the tech blocking meta as well.
