Post game statement from Owner and Head Coach, Dino Bizzarro:

"This is the biggest accomplishment in our very young history. For a team of foreigners to take down colossal opponents in their first season... I'm just so proud of these guys. Bart Bizzarro, was the best player in the league all year. No one could stop him. He carried us. Well today, he didn't perform to his ability. 4 ints... And what happened? The rest of the team rallied behind their captain and won the game for him. This team was looked down upon. They said it was a 'weird experiment', they said the zone defense couldn't win a title. At the beginning of the season, I don't think anyone thought we'd be here. Despite that, here we are. And let me tell you, it feels good to win it against those guys especially.

A big thanks to Cjhwolf for his contributions bringing in vital players and his mentorship to me. Couldn't have done it without you. Also a thank you to Pvtgripwd. Congrats on your championship as well, and glad we could add 2 rookie titles.

To the Dolphins, thank you for the fight and giving the crowd a great show. I hope and expect our rivalry to continue for the next several seasonS. This is only the beginning for Team Italy. FORZA ITALIA!!!!!"

Squirrels Topple Titletown (Whoville)

Whoville's could not complete the "3peat", as Jarvis Street found a way to defeat the Whos for a 2nd time this year. In frigid temperatures, the Squirrels dominated the Whos offense. Whoville could only muster up 1 TD that came much too late in the 4th quarter.

Prescott was very efficient for the Coffee Squirrels, especially given the elements. He completed 67% of this throws for 260 yards and 2 TDs.

This was the heavyweight bought in rookie. These teams were clearly the 2 best teams, not only in the Egg League, but in the rookie rank.

Reporter asks Coffee Squirrel owner dcarbo: 1. "Does it make the championship sweeter to beat such a formidable opponent?" 2. "What was the most important part of your success this season?" 3. "Finally, congratulations on the win, what can we expect next season, dcarbo?"

1. Absolutely - sweet indeed any time you can wrestle a win away from OSIRIS
2. The players. We've got a great bunch of guys, it's a pleasure having them on the team
3. More competition. It gets harder each season, the teams get better, the game plans trickier, the margins thinner. And, of course, the hard-to-predict start-of-season Changelog.

Looking forward to it.

And thank *you*, Bizzarro24, for your delightfully entertaining reports
