Player positions available: All right now. I have a QB and WR, but open to everything.
Management positions available: I'm looking for guys to help me recruit hard. I'll also be in need of some scouts who will watch opposing teams games and report back to me the formations they primarily use in all down situations. I'm in need of some guys who are willing to work TOGETHER with everyone involved. I'm willing to listen to any suggestions and I encourage them. If I can get some good minds together on this team, I'll be able to manage all of your knowledge into a great team.
My background: This is my first season in glb2. I used to play glb about 10 years ago. This is the first time for me owning a team. I will be around every season for a long time now, so if you're looking to join a team and owner who will invest in you for the long term, it's me. I'm willing to accept noobs like me and veterans that can help us all learn and enjoy this game. On the team page I will put up forums for us to discuss the games, strategies, recruiting, trash talk, and whatever else you guys would like to discuss. I want this to be a fun enjoyable group of agents. I will be very active and I want agents that will do the same. I'd like to do my part in making glb2 even better than it already is; I'll do that with adding an even greater sense of community and communication. In the end, I hope to build a dominating franchise that everyone in the game knows about.
Team strategy: As I said before, we'll be running a spread offense. I have a pocket QB with good awareness. I want to build this team with tall and strong receivers, a pass blocking o-line, and a strong arm pocket QB.
We'll be very agressive with the ball. Lots of quick passes on early downs. In short yardage situations, I want to catch the D by surprise and go long often. Let's stretch out the opposing defense and see if they can cover all the weapons. We'll discuss this more if you decide to offer a management position to the team.
Defensively we'll be running a lot of zone. We'll need some big DT to stuff the run up the middle. If we do that, I plan on challenging these QBs to pass through a strong zone blitz.
