I am new to the GLB2, but it seems to me that there is a large disparity between CPU players and teams. Some CPU players seem really good and some are not so good.

Two CPU teams in the same league. One is 5-1-1 the other is 3-3-1.

I also see the same thing when I play in pickup games. The CPU players seem to have a huge grievance in skill. I think it makes sense to reduce the variation between CPU players and make them all a bit more standard. By having this much variation it kind of takes the need for owners to pursue boosting players out. If there are some CPU players that are nearly as good a human built players and better than non-boosted human players, there is a less of a need to get human players who boost. Just get CPU players. I don't think that is good for the game. I also suspect that is why there are so many teams in GLB 2 who have CPU players. You don't see that at all in GLB.

Not sure if this has been discussed before.

Lower Levels Tiers CPU players have better games at times than some Human DOTS especially unboosted, once you get into the upper tiers they usually dont have good speed/stamina/power to compete with the better teams in a tier.

That seems like a terrible design flaw. So new player comes to the game and makes a dot that is worse than CPU dots. I am sure that is a good way to get and keep people in a game.

With Free players people can keep up with zero cost......
It's impossible to field a team with all free players in the games current state of active players.
Every non Boosted Human DOT Loses 8000 Skill Points to the CPU at rookie level.

Key is finding the active agents that plan on being around for a while!

It isn't that their dot is worse than a CPU. CPU players spread their stats around fairly evenly with a little more attention towards major stats. So early on because SP's aren't of great differential and your SA's generally aren't hitting gold level, CPU players can stick around with just about anyone. After that rookie season you probably shouldn't have CPU's at most skill positions as it will likely hurt you.
