What exactly factors into how long it takes to turn around?

I'm aware there's a Balance issue going on and that it's even worse in rain games. But even in regular sunny games, it seems like DBs and HBs in particular are turning at a shockingly slow pace. This seems to have gotten worse lately, but maybe I'm just paying more attention to it.

I've watched players with a variety of Balance/Footwork/Quickness (typically in the 20-30 range for balance, 35-55 range for footwork, and 40-55 range for quickness at the sophomore level). I don't think Awareness affects it, because guys with low and high awareness are turning at about the same ridiculously slow rate.

Is there some kind of necessary minimum (and is it related to this balance thing) to make a player actually turn around?

Actually the hot fix just changed everything. Gonna probably need 50+ balance on all your secondary now or expect to be left in the dust consistently. I ran a scrimmage with Alaskan Assassins this morning and it was nuts. Repeatedly they were running by my defenders. Now those are the fastest players in the game. But now watching my rookie game, both pass defenses look abysmal. Guys running by defenders consistently on every play.

Well, that explains why I thought everything looked crazy suddenly. Thank you.

I was thinking between 20-30 would be enough for players who weren't really making "cuts."

But looks like I'll be pumping balance for a bit since turning around is kindof important for the defense.

I would hold up before making any decisions. I think they will roll back some of todays changes after seeing the results. Can't imagine they leave the sim like this.

Damn BHall your a G, thanks for this..... I was beyond irritated with my Secondary today, as I though I had a great Game plan in place. Seems like the CB were peeking into the backfield as the WR's ran past them consistently.

I had that same thought. My secondary was in the low 20's so I went ahead and added balance just because I think you shouldn't be able to completely ignore it, and although this was really extreme, I hope they still address that issue. Balance isn't the only skill you can ignore and do well that you shouldn't be able to, but Ill leave that alone.

Shoot now players are falling down cause of balance.... lol.. they fall before they get to the tackle.. sheesh
