I created my team, I created like 18 players and they are rated nicely. I know a lot about football, but that doesn't appear to matter with this game as i am losing my butt off. I really want to be competitive. Haaalp please

The general consensus is that CPU players will tank your team. You should try to recruit more human players onto your roster.

I didn't review your playcalling but one thing that helped me was narrowing down the playbook. Pick your favorite plays that work and spam them. The less is more approach has helped me.

First you gotta understand that GLB is a bit far from real football, check the forum, read some posts, ask questions, the begining is hard to learn but you will get there.

Your 'human' players haven't got their full Chemistry yet, which can make a difference.

And Brett007 is right, you need to recruit some more guys. One way to do it is to check the CPU teams for human players and make some offers. And the Marketplace might have a couple you can pick up.

It's a lot more fun to play for a human-controlled team than a CPU team, so you should get some takers.

Do it before the season ends so you can get their chemistry higher before next season.

And post a a thread in the Teams Looking for Players forum and keep it updated. It's never too early to start recruiting for next season.

If you feel like you're not learning fast enough, try posting in Teams Looking for Coaches and get an OC or DC to help out.

This is kind of a must imo.

It shows what plays work against what and what plays don't work well at all. If your opponent uses it and you do not you are already at a huge disadvantage, especially if you are not already experienced and established.

Low chemistry will greatly hurt your performance. You have a lot of extra cap room so you can afford high contracts which will help chemistry recover faster. I would start with your HB and CBs for sure.

Try to sign players mostly in the offseason where they can start at 50 chemistry. After I believe week 5 any human player you sign will be worthless starting at 0 chemistry. It is best to stick with CPUs after that point. This is a mistake I see so many teams making. The one exception is if you can secure a super star or hard to recruit position for future seasons.

Don't be afraid to reset a few times to get organized and correct mistakes you made before. Rookie is a bit more forgiving that other levels. You will have a chance to play other inexperienced teams. The higher you move up in tiers most of those teams will be gone leaving only experienced teams in the tier.

Sponge the forums, get the scout tool, and ask lots of questions.
