Franklin League Week Two Write-up

Virginia Zephyrs @ Chicago Crocodiles
The CPU Zephyrs beat the Crocodiles 16-0. It looks like the Crocodiles added GM BRadyT and HC srbombader. While this should be an improvement from an inactive DPGDawg, the Crocodiles will find it difficult to compete against teams with more experienced coaching staffs.
Next week, the Crocodiles will travel to Gotham to face off against a veteran coaching staff while the Zephyrs will play the Jarvis Street Coffee Squirrels. Look for the Squirrels to put on a clinic.

Gotham Knights @ Jarvis Street Coffee Squirrels
The Squirrels showed why they were the runner ups for the league championship last season easily dispatching the Knights 45 - 10
The Squirrels’ balanced attack was too difficult to stop even though QB Cary Byrne threw 3 INTs to CB Red Hood, FS Leon McCray and CB Woodson 3rd and only 1 TD to WR Receiver One . The Squirrel’s ground game was the difference. HB Pin Ball ran for 146 yards and 1 touchdown while HB Monte’ Foster ran for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns.
The Jarvis Street defense held QB Coeus to 35.8% with 4 INTs to CB Kristopher McKenzie, FS Safety One, SS Storm Simoneau and CB Deion Bain and 1 TD to WR Flash Bang. The Knights’ ground game was non-existent as well with HB Deion Barr held to 26 yards rushing.
Next week, the Knights will look to get back in the win column as they host the Crocodiles while the Squirrels will continue their winning ways against the Zephyrs

Golden State Warriors @ Orlando Cheetahs
As expected, the Warriors dominated both sides of the ball in this one winning 47-0. QB Ramal Tipton completed 54% of his passes for 301 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs on the day. HB Odgarr Ozorn ran for 253 yards and 3 touchdowns. WR Oshino Meme had 201 yards receiving caught both of Tipton’s touchdown passes.
The Warriors’ defense did not need to force turnovers in this one as the Cheetahs could not complete drives. The Warriors help the Cheetahs to 76 yards passing and 52 yards rushing.
Next week, the CPU Cheetahs go to Vermont to play the CPU Warriors. Snooze feast. Golden State will host, the reigning Champions, the Hawaii Bulls for sole possession of Beta Division and to be the favorite to win this years’ Championship.

Vermont Warriors @ Hawaii Bulls
So what, I was wrong, the Bulls didn’t put up triple digits on the CPU Vermont Warrior. They still put up 50+ and shut them out. QB Valentin completed 60% of his passes for 135 yards and 1 touchdown pass to WR Jonas Davila. It was the HB Smash show as Smash smashed the Warriors for 401 yards and 6 TDs. Smash is running away with the MVP award.
One man gang DE Darrius Henry racked up 5 sacks. CB Marco Lewis had 2 INTs and CB Vince Patrick added another INT.
Next week, The CPU Vermont Warriors host the CPU Cheetahs in the “Who Cares?” bowl while the Bulls go to Golden State to assert their dominance in Beta Divison and the Franklin League

More to come…

New England Mainiacs @ San Diego Vampires

Kapitol Killers @ Great Lakes Raiders
