I want to build a balanced offense with a little more running than passing. A blitzing style defense

Problem with blitzing Def is when you face the good teams, your defense will get destroyed especially in VET. Good QBs will tear it apart, and good rushing offenses will hit homeruns.

Opinions vary on what ideal builds look like, and the best role for star players. The forums are loaded with threads 'discussing' the relative merits of different builds. Check them out, they make for some interesting reading.

I still do not build for pure performance... I ensure that I have things incorporated in to builds that are known to work but typically not as extreme as others while I try to add secondary and/or tertiary roles to player builds. There are all sorts of concepts that you can play with if you are looking to play with builds a bit... If you are looking to just build full on meta type builds you can do that too although I find it less exciting personally. Additionally, there will be differing opinions on what is considered to be the "best" way to build each position depending on coaching tendencies, player roles that they use and just preferences. Asking for a full team worth of builds seems like a taxing question. Are there any specifics that you are curious about?

Keep in mind that the most important thing is coaching and play calling. After that, player builds can begin to be the difference in games.

Telling someone to sift through pages of threads that might or might not have accurate information isn't necessarily helping me. If I wanted to spend hours reading and hoping I read the correct info, I most likely wouldn't of started a thread asking for help.

OK, so when you first build a player, position specific, what's best to set the atts at? speed, strength, agility, ect... and I wanted to build a playbook but i want to use the plays that the players will excel with, I see guys running like 10-20 plays and the win, while I try and mimic those I don't fair aswell.

Well I can say a S* HB is very helpfu.

As for the builds it depends what plays you are going to want to run the most. Need to pass well enough to open up outside runs as that's where the damage is done in the run game.

Favor run blocking with the oline for sure. But as to how much is the debate.

If I find time I'll try and help with a few builds. I think I have a couple that work well.

To touch on the last 4 posts or so.

As for Def, it's more important to figure out what scheme man or zone. Then each player's builds to their specific job in each formation. That's what is key to seperate from average-good-top teams. Who blitz, man zone or runstopper?

Offense, just build towards your plan and make defenses adjust to you! A S* HB is probably the most important thing in the game, then just have to decide towards game plan of your HBs build. As for passing, have at least a Screen WR and a possession WR combined with at least 1 receiving TE to be able to have a balanced offense.

If want more detailed descriptions or advice pm me and we can talk about it.

A S*HB & S*SS are prob the 2 most important S* players. Outside of that Joker is pretty spot on.
