I'm building a receiver, as far as physical attributes go i know sprinting is number 1 and quickness is number 2, but what exactly does footwork and balance do? which is more important and do they help in the smoothness of my player as much as just padding quickness?
thank you!

If you want to go with low Receiving GRIP then keep balance at a minimum, that way they make the catch but then stay on the ground to avoid a KL or even dare I say a FUMBLE! If you want a screen WR then you need balance for YAC, I'd say 50+.

Footwork has been shown to help get around the DB after the catch but don't go too crazy on it. Again 50 is probably a max that I'd put on any WR.

Snap Reaction plays a part in getting past the DB on streak and go routes so it is nice, say 30-35 works unless he is a screen WR in which I see no value.
