So a journey QB from season 4 was at the top of the charts while a journey QB now has pro and vet above them.

Not sure that makes much sense for single tier all time greats though. I get that maybe helps all time full career greats but the single season solo tier greats are quite a bit out of whack.

Belgareth must have benefited in some way that Denali didn't in their sophomore seasons. Really weird. Was belgareth pre change of sophomore being blocked from upper tier ladder competition?

We'll see how Denali finishes the season in the rankings. If he continues on his 24k passing yards and nearly 300 TD path I'd expect a top 5 all time season.

Don't count your ptarmigans before they hatch. You guys have to face PEW Monday...expect negative yards. It's gonna look like the dog catcher at the Puppy Bowl.

My guess is that global rank factors in. Less teams early on meant that even soph teams had a decent rank. Hard to remember how many teams were in the upper tiers back then. Spent most of my time in GLB1 back then.
Here's the #100 Seasoned QB: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/84704
Here's the Brian O'Connor who's not even Top 100 yet for seasoned: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/249734
Notice the same thing with Derek Jeter and Tecmo Russell going up the tiers too. The bar is a bit higher for current players. On defense is even worse.

Belgarath was a S6 Rookie. S7 LogZilla Soph was a protected tier, just like now.
Not sure if that helps/hurts.

That's definitely strange.

Julio isn't even top 50 and he has better stats than a good amount of players ahead of him
I'm guessing strength of schedule is a factor - but also stuff like ladder trophies / championships / etc - just like discussions in real life.

Has to be only Sos or a guy like cleveland would never have been top of the crop.
