Running a pup power HB and I have just gotten his carry grip up to 96 but no SAs for fumble prevention. Last 3 games since carry grip was pumped up he has had 6 fumbles.

Worst RNG ever ooooorrrrrr what?

Will be cap boosting it to 100 to see how that goes...but this is kind of concerning haha

I wouldn't say fumbles are over-powered, it's more due to GLB2's physics, which are a bit cartoonish. Momentum of the two players seems to matter the most. Same as with broken tackles. So a KR, for example, who is just starting to find space will get killed if a power hitter gets a clean shot on him. Or a QB standing still on a sack, or a WR catching a screen pass and being hit by a SS flying in.

No toughness or heart. All that carry grip is killed after a couple carries.

Though I will say this.

I had Martin Fritz and Remington huff last season.

Fritz had nearly 900 carries and 15 fumbles.

Huff had nearly 800 carries and 50 fumbles.

Fritz had silver Mr reliable.

Huff had neither sa but had higher grip, toughness, and heart.

This, the guy would need to break 2/3 tackle attempts on him to even tread water morale-wise when you're dealing with numbers that low.

Shibby, gotta change my HB's plans then, time to silver Mr. R and Juke instead of gold Juke :/

Also some things play into it, such as no quick or footwork makes him a 'sitting duck' in terms of finding the sweet spot to lay into him, and makes him unable to turn from a direct contact with a guy flying in on STs. Does he fumble a lot on the returns?

Stiff arm might not be the best option for him. Your carry awareness cap is pretty low to fire it much I think.

Has Stiff arm been firing when the fumbles happen? I wouldn't think so as he has enough power if it fires he should break right free but who knows

How often does stiff arm fire with carry aware at 17?

I can say from experience: not often.

It's not a heavy firer in the first place even with high awareness, it's just super effective when it does fire.

Had a HB with 29 power that could break tackles when it fired, made me smile.

New Drago will try something similar. How much carry awareness did he have?

I'll bump those and see how it helps

95, I try to aim for that when I go lower power so the stiff arm shines. I'd go to at least 35 power if not higher though.
