I have a backup QB who has gone inactive and I want to bring back the cpu player. Will he start all over again with chemistry?

I'm not sure how you re-sign a CPU player but I would say that you don't really need a backup QB. They do fine on their own, especially if they have 30+ conditioning in Rookie.
Can you send CPU players contracts? As far as I know you can re-sign a regular player as long as it's not close to the playoffs. I seem to remember that 21 day rule doesn't stop you from signing them for the first 2/3rds of the season.
