I generally have just thrown it together but after getting torched on three returns probably need to rethink. I generally kept my starting Defense away from Punts and kickoffs for fear of a conditioning nightmare, now thinking i should put a few good tacklers out there? How do you guys balance it? Thanks for any help...

On Kickoff and Punts, you play your Defense. That's just one reason why players need 80+ Conditioning.

Lots if stamina...and starters on ST.

Also try and steer from using your secondary guys on punts and kickoffs. Unless you have a CB with really good tackling and block breaking skills of course. Pancakes kill morale and offer easier returns.
