http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/400281/1421952I believe you are mistaken, a deflection occurs when the DB get his hands on the football BEFORE the Receiver can touch the ball. When this happens in GLB, and most of the time in the real world, the DB will bat away the ball at a high velocity so that the intended Receiver can not catch it. Your DB did not bat the ball away at a high velocity so I don't believe it is a Pass deflection that occured. At 0:27 the clip that starts shows a pass deflection
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZwsWjgXIkQ , the slo-mo clip at 2:59 is the definition of a PD, the DB bats the pass and the receiver never touches the ball

What you witness in in GLB was a pass defended, a pass that the Receiver made contact with but the defender broke it up in the air.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ed52KLps6U From 0:43 to 1:39 we have two deflections but those can be seen in slo-mo or in a deep ball play (1:05 and 1:24), the rest are pass defended plays. 2:30 is really the definition of pass defended. The Receiver is in the position to get two hand possession of the football yet William Jackson the third breaks up the pass. Maybe 2:30 is what you DB in GLB2 did, idk. All I know is that it was a pass defended not a pass deflection.
