SO statistically in todays games, in the offensive gameplans Ive called to this point.....

Pass plays vs blitz plays came up 9 times on 3rd or 4th and 10+
6-7 passing for 112 yards with 2 sacks(both of Los Diablos QB...MUST NEED TO FIX R BUILDS) and a scramble for 13 yards

Data was taken from my Freakville, Natural Disasters and Los Diablos ladder games
Note Hells Kitchen and Taylor Gangs opponents didnt blitz in that situation.

Nice data but I still think a check down option is needed. Not every team has Tony Besilli at LT.

I guess my question is if you know cover 3 tiger is coming on 3rd and long and you know your builds aren't good enough to get the pass off, why are you using those plays on 3rd and long?

Because it is possible that the tackle could pick up the blitzing LB and have a shot downfield. Or if the LB gets by the tackle, then dump it off....

Words like possible are why you want a check down. I like probable plays.

I try and avoid this issue. Still get caught once and a while though somehow. I also tried to make my lineman move well to pick it up but must not have went far enough.

I only consider longer than 12 yards to be the issue. At which point I will more often than nopt do something to beat the blitz. Still get my QB hammered at times though
