I'm aware that I'm not going to make any friends with this, but doesn't it seem like a problem for users to coach multiple teams in the same league? If they play eac other, 1 team has a chance to make playoffs and the other doesn't, the coach can impact the outcome.
I'm relatively new to GLB and I'm starting to understand why there aren't many new users.

In all honesty, most coaches give passing advice, but dont always do much of the actual game planning. The ones that do (I saw this several times in black mamba league last season) the coach often chooses a team and ignores the other teams gameplan, someone else does the offense/defense or whichever, no one fixes games as thats harsh on the owners

Last season I bought my first team mid season, I was a GM of one team. Ended up We were in the same League. When it came to the Head to Head game. I controlled the team I own and didn't do anything with the GM team. Also communicated with the Owner about that. The wins ended up split 1-1.

no worries. It is a valid point and we have had discussion about it certainly. If I am an active coach (vs. a LOL coach - in title only), I try not to be in the same tier and/or league. I became coach for 2 teams in the same tier, but different leagues and then they were merged into same league. Luckily on one of them I am just a back-up Assist OC, so I am not involved and they trust that I am not going to spy on their gp (we have worked together for a over a year and wouldn't want to jeopardize our relationship). They know that I entirely run the other team. Having back-ups are nice and sometimes crucial, when someone gets sick, is busy w/ work, etc. Hopefully when one fills in it doesn't occur when one has the conflict of interest. I have been on teams that that has occurred and the coach just spoke up. I appreciated it.

If our Moose teams play each other I just don't even bother looking and let the dice fall where they may.

I just ran the same O and D and let the players fight it out.
