In my line of work as a sales manager, I always ask my clients for feedback regarding my performance. My clients feel heard and I gain insight on how to better serve them and ultimately keep them as my client.
As a new member to the GLB community, and at the risk of speaking up too soon, I think it would be helpful to have a suggestion box for the GLB developers.
I, like you, really enjoy this game. How can it be better? We need a better retention rate. It seems there are too many inactive teams and too many CPU teams. How can we keep players engaged? To me, I think the learning curve is to large. For one, the impact of the individual attributes when creating players is too much of a guessing game.
Regarding the inactive users, why not offer FPs to keep loyal users? Without knowledge of GLB profit margins, why not give users who spend, say, 600 FPs get 150 FPs back?
Or, if you maintain active team ownership for 3 seasons, which is 1500 FPs, you get 500 FPs back.
Just a thought. I know there are far more experienced GLB players that have better insight than I do. What do you think?

As a friendly heads up, if you want this question to get some attention, I would copy it over to the general forum. More appropriate, plus people will see the question.

Suggestions has an area as well. Orndog at least shows up there from time to time

Most of your questions are answered. You will never get a "guide" of how to create players. You do get flex back when you retire players.
