Full disclosure, I completed my 1st season and sucked ( 3-10-2). But I was thinking it would be useful to be able to dictate the tactics used during a p/u game and also to be able to request a p/u game for an entire team so owners can get an idea as to what certain play books and tactics look like in action. Anyone else think this would be helpful in game planning?

I know that's available but it is not free. I've not been involved with the GLB community very long, but based on the few teams I've played, I've seen that roughly 1 in 5 team owners are "inactive", not to mention that some leagues have cpu teams. From my perspective, GLB is hemorhaging users which makes the league less interesting. Perhaps more in game options should be free to create a stronger customer base. (Every 3 seasons = 150 FP 's) I'm not sure why there are so many abandoned teams and why GLB doesn't seem to offer rewards ( no matter how small) to those who continue to renew their team / teams each year. Clearly I think something has to be done to maintain the league.

Problem is so many people want to jump right in and own a team and win without learning what it takes to win. More want to build there own team instead of building dots for teams with a plan. Then when they can't make their team win they quit
At the rate losing people, have to hope people start to return. If not might get to where need to set it up like a subscription base where you own a team and can make your own players. Then everyone would be on a more even playing field as everyone would have the same amount of S*s and then it would all be on builds and game plans. Only problem is they couldn't make as much so it will never happen. OT to mention might get boring not having others on your team to interact with.

I think it's only natural to want to win or succeed and that desire is always welcome immediately. The allure of immediate gratification will never go away. So, accepting that fact and attempting to find a solution that drives more users to GLB, to me, includes ease of use and reduced costs.
Ease of use - there is a major burden on the user to engage successfully. It's like buying a game for Xbox and having to read a 100 page instruction booklet to have a winning record
Reduced investment - there should be a reward / loyalty system designed to incentivize ownership of teams. I'm not educated in GLBs profit margin but it seems reasonable to offer a certain amount of FPs after you create 5 players or offer FPs after renewing a team 2 seasons in a row. Something like that.

Screw the guys who always win. They likely have no issue with flex. If anything need to reduce the investment of new users so they don't have to throw away money learning. Maybe a new player league where only newer users can join it? Then they learn against each other at a reduced cost. Highest performing teams are then moved to fill out normal leagues as they go.

Love this idea.
