Yeah I know the title, bowchickabowwow.

Any teams out there running heavy offensive schemes with a single RB? I'm too much of a puss to try it in game, and I haven't had any scrimmage data since early last season.

When I say heavy, I'm looking for offenses that are running 60% or higher of their offense through the back. I don't know that it can be done anymore, but that's based off of a few scrimmages, so I'm open to being wrong.

This is the closest thing I've seen to what your looking for, but I wouldn't say its 60% but he's definitely at least 40% of the offense

Jedi Order does it with a S* and he is #1 in HOF in Seasoned right now. He runs on every single play.

Tokeneke Terrapins in Pro has a HB that does all the rushing and I think has the most receptions in tier as well. The team was an experiment and hence kinda a joke, maybe like this thread

I prefer tall HBs who's interests include but aren't limited to:

Long walks on the beach
Wine and art parties
Mini food fights in my new kitchen
Reading books together and reacting simultaneously

Oh, and reach arounds.

In our offense, I decided to calculate Trogdor's usage throughout the game.

1279 offensive plays in
297 special teams plays
=
1576 total plays

Which is I think the max on both (barring extra point plays) as he is the only returner/running back.

472 rushes
163 targets (130 caught if you don't feel targets themselves constitute usage)
209 kicks returned (the rest were TBs or downed punts)
=
844 plays (811 minus targeted incomplete passes) / 1576 total plays
=
53.6% usage (or ~51.5%)

Those numbers should be barely off they are. It's not like those catches aren't burning energy. 30 TDs there and thirteen ypc. He's breaking lots of long plays.

So I feel like teams are far more likely to attempt running a single back than use them all over the place. I'm curious to see what the limit is.

Seems like he does. I'd say he's number 1 simply because of usage, V Phillips seems to do a better job rushing. That could be because Mysterio went inactive a while ago, but I guess that's speculation.

Looking at your running back:

1382 offensive plays
460 rushes
255 targets (197 receptions)
=
~51.7% or 47.5%

Looks pretty similar if we don't involve kickoffs, which I wasn't looking to do.
