There was some sort of snafu with initial elo values that have really hurt Seasoned teams. We're too far into the season to make a correction. It will work itself out but does suck for the affected teams.

Adding this to the OP took a legit gripe and turned it into an accusation against another player. That's where a good amount of the hostility you're seeing comes from. If you feel someone is cheating, contact support or a mod and we'll look into it. I encourage the community to quit referencing this portion of the OP and focus on the issue.

If you had taken a few minutes you'd seen the thread posted in this topic concerning the admins screw up with the ELO before hand. I suggested you use your brain to go on the forums to ask "what's up" instead of getting all emotional and talking out of your ass. I personally do not accuse someone of foul doings unless I have proof.

I don't have any frustrations with the staff here... as a matter of fact, they have treated me well in my dealings with them. When I went through the Seasoned ELO the first time I just accepted that this was just how the game works and moved on without any stink.

My only frustration is that you accused me unjustly and despite finding out I'm innocent of any wrongdoing, I received no apology and you're still all sour grapes. Oh...As far as your jab goes, you accused me of cheating... wtf did you think I'd do, be happy to be accused of by someone who put no effort into any research? That thread about the admins mistake is on the first page where you posted here. I was justified in my retort.

Some of these guys would have been a lot more malicious to you than I was. I didn't even try to run up the score in our game... I ran mostly prevent defenses vs your team instead of blitzing you to smithereens. I ran 5 total blitzes the entire game. 5. Hell, I didn't even spam all the best offensive combos either, I just ran my base package.

Lastly, concerning my "well deserved ladder rankings", my team has been in one of the toughest leagues currently in GLB2 for awhile now, as GoGetta, Dredgar, Detroit Leos, and many others can attest. Your whole "stay classy" remark is just hypocrisy on your part.

Propose a solution then. Who are us 10 professional teams supposed to play then? Are we supposed to play amongst ourselves for all 30 games? Or are we supposed to play like we do currently, against generally the better teams from other tiers? This is not a bug, this is simply what happens due to the low amount of teams in the upper tiers. This forum has absolutely demonstrated to be critical towards the guys in charge, but most of us seem to see this as the results of a different problem, not a cop out.

Myrik has been one of the classiest guys in this game, which is the sole reason I'm even posting in this thread. He's the first to wish you good game, everytime. I saw him say it in multiple threads the other day just to make sure the lower tiered team knew he was saying it. He's always taken his wins and losses both like a champ, he's always been reasonable, and he's simply a likeable guy. I didn't honestly think it was possible to not like the guy. You took a shot at him by saying he's abusing ladder mechanics. On the scale of dumb comments, this is about on par with Rush Limbaugh's evolutionary ape comment that he made yesterday.

Having a match like this is ridiculous. This team is two tiers ahead of mine with nearly double the skill points. This is a level 11 team against a level 21 team. I look forward to each game, even ladder matches. I take pride in my win-loss record.

I understand sometimes the top of a tier needs to play against the bottom of the next tier. This is a 9-2 team that has only played ladder matches of this nature. Four ladder match against Seasoned teams another two against Journeyman. If anything the Mountaineers should be playing Veteran teams.

just go win your league championship and stop crying, theyve tried and tweaked seasoned as much as possible. Do you think you are the best team in GLB? Do you think you would like to play Dharan 10 straight ladder matches? I'm okay with playing a tier up to a certain extent as there is a LOT more gratification if you pull it off. There is no right or wrong answer for the devs as no matter what they do there will be complaints. So suck it up and focus on your league games.

How the hell would anyone "cheat" on a sim game?
