Fury vs Campbell Knights

Prediction: Fury is furious after coming off a ladder loss to Rochester. Campbell is on the downslide, losing 3 in a row. Fury wins easily to stay within striking distance of 1st place in Alpha.

Northland Reavers vs Blue Ridge Moonshine Club

Prediction: Huge game for both teams. Northland needs this win to keep up with Fury and Whoville in Alpha. They have been playing stellar over the last 5 weeks, including a butt whippen of Miami Dolphins in their last ladder game. Blue Ridge needs a win to keep distance between them and GE in Beta. They are coming off a shutout loss to Kiwi in ladder. Northland has one of the best offenses in rookie, so unless Blue Ridge can put together a good offensive game plan, they will be in trouble. Northland continues its tear and gets the win to stay in the Alpha race.

Whoville Whos vs Anchorage Ninjas

Prediction: Anchorage sucks and Whoville is Whoville. Whoville is pissed after tieing an average Cambridge Knights in ladder play. Whoville wins easy to stay atop Alpha.

PAIN NATION MIDGETS vs The Simpsons

Prediction: Midgets are an average team in a great conference and their playoff fate is sealed. The Simpsons are still on a high after taking out 1980s last league game and jumping back into 1st place. No let down today as they take care of business and beat Pain Nation.

The Jedi Order vs Pasadena Rebels

Prediction: Jedi Order get a bye this week as they face the winless Rebels. This game came at a much needed time as the Order are trying to cling to 1st place in Gamma.

Los Angeles Pain vs 1980s Run Stuffers

Prediction: Big game between these two teams. Loser is pretty much out of the playoff picture. GE is pissed after having lost 3 of his last 4 games, although they were against solid competition. Pain is also in a slump having lost it's last 2 games, including getting shutout by Wake Forest, a team the Run Stuffers destroyed earlier in the season. GE puts together a good enough offensive game plan to get the victory and stay within striking distance of Blue Ridge. LA Pain lose and start thinking about what could have been and begin planning for next season.

GG Blue, but I want a replay check on that final conversion. We should have been playin some OT! lol

But seriously good calls, I had a feeling I you would go power run instead of outside much. I hedged my bets trying to play both and obviously don't quite have a handle on how to set up the playbook tactics combination to make a hybrid man/zone approach work out.

GG GE I just put in the wrong def tactics and cost my team the season. I ran a zone vs all run offence.... FML.

Was wondering how Skeletor got so many easy runs. That GL defense against my 2 TE set was ugly.

Stick around and gain valuable experience. This league will end up being one of the best in GLB2 history after we add a few more solid teams in the off season. You have earned my respect as a newb already...especially with 0 S*s.

GG. Yes we could have played OT very easily - you were maybe an inch away for the 2pt conversion?- I was fortunate with RNG lol. Nice come back. I am feeling my way around a bit too with the game planning stuff. I used to play but other people did the game planning.

Yea you've been doin pretty good as well. This is my first full season with GLB2 and I'm thankful for my team owner putting trust into allowing me to do the defense. I've been learning alot against a solid league.
