The Simpsons vs Fury
This league just got very interesting. Don't look now but Fury just called for reinforcements! What was once a CPU infested team is now swimming in GLB2 Legend superpower S*s.....
The Simpsons are tied for 1st place in Gamma but they were destroyed in their 2 losses. The inconsistency of the Simpsons coupled with the emergence of Fury equals bad news for Homer and company. Fury comes out making a statement and wins convincingly.
Anchorage Ninjas vs Northland Reavers
After starting out the season on fire, Northland has cooled down, losing their last 3 games. Fortunately they play Anchorage this week. Northland gains confidence and gets back in the win column.

1980s Run Stuffers vs Whoville Whos
Well this matchup should be interesting. 1980s offense has been putred up to this point, scoring 0 points in the last 2 games. The SP boost should help out this offense but by how much? The 2500 SPs will help teams that are not all CPU, and that is just what the doctor ordered for the Run Stuffers. Whoville, after starting out 5-0 and shooting to the top of the ladder, got their first loss last game. The mainly CPU roster will only get worse as other teams wrack up the SPs. This game could be a turning point in Whos season as the Run Stuffers stuff the run and put up just enough points to squeak out a victory.
Pasadena Rebels vs PAIN NATION MIDGETS
0-3 vs 0-3. Celler dweller match up. I'll pick the Midgets soley on the fact that they have the more experienced owner.
Columbus Knights vs Los Angeles Pain
The Knights are about average with an average roster. Pain made a statement by whipping the Simpsons, then they turn around and get whipped in the ladder matchup. They are up and down all season so far. I think Pain is heading back up and knock off one of the many teams that cyberninja is running in rookie.
Blue Ridge Moonshine Club vs The Jedi Order
This could easily be the Game of the Week as well. 3-0 Blue Ridge vs 2-1 Jedi Order. Two first place teams. Blue Ridge has been clutch, winning several close games, but they cannot put together a solid offense game. The most they have scored is 14 points in a game and have been shutout twice. They do have a very good defense though. On the other hand, The Jedi Order has been putting up some serious points, scoring 30+ in 3 of their 6 games this season. Can Blue Ridge shut down the Jedi's offense enough to pull off the victory? The Jedi Order score enough to win and take sole possession of 1st place.
