Alpha

Northland Reavers
One man team and I believe the owner is a newb. Will take time to learn the ropes but this division looks weak right now with Fury and PNM awol. Seems like he wants to win and learn so Northland could have potential.

Whoville Whos
Taking the year off but they started off with the biggest victory of week 1, in a 38-7 thrashing of Fury. Well experienced coaching staff and will be a contender in another season unless they reset. Not this year though.

PAIN NATION MIDGETS
Another team that is taking the year off. 89stepside has been around a long time but isn't investing in his team this season. All CPU team right now.

Fury
Yet another team that has a veteran staff and is not adding players to the roster. AirMcMVP has been spotted online as recently as today so he isn't AWOL. Rumor is that his players are scared to jump into a division with the 1980s Run Stuffers! Unless AirMcMVP comes back, this team is another shell of "has beens".

Prediction
Due to all the AWOL veteran teams, by default Northland Reavers will win the division.

1980s Run Stuffers
Coached by a legend in the making, GE has once again teamed up with the best Zone Defensive Coordinator in the GLB2 universe, Cybertron, to put together "Plan P". Many have speculated but only GE and Cybertron know what this plan has in store. I'm guessing it will include multiple Championships on the grandest of scale! 1980s started strong in week 1 with a shutout over Columbus. Look for the Run Stuffers to not only compete for the League Championship but also compete for the Ladder Championship.

Blue Ridge Moonshine Club
Don't know much about Stamango, but he has a ton of players. Blue Ridge is a one man team with Stamango owning every player, which is always an advantage. They should compete for the division as they have shown promise out the gate with a victory in week 1 but lack of S* will eventually due them in.

Pasadena Rebels
Hrebel is trying but his team is just not even close to championship material. Zero S* and half CPU team will only get your so far. Not this year...Hrebel has some work to do on that roster. They did have an impressive weak 1 showing with a narrow lose to Blue Ridge, 7-0.

Columbus Knights
The Knights are in a similar boat as the Rebels, with only 1 S* and a half CPU roster. However Cyberninja is very experienced so they should win a few game just off that. Roster needs some work though.

Prediction
1980s Run Stuffers is the team to beat in this division. The lack of S* on the other teams (1980s has 3x the total number of S* on the other 3 teams combined) will eventually due them in. Look for the Run Stuffers to run away with this division.

The Simpsons
Greg0781, a veteran agent of the GLB2 galaxy, had some issues creating S* early in the off season but has seemed to gotten it straightened out. Simpsons now have his 3 S* and an almost all Greg0781 roster. This savvy owner coupled with his owns player might wreck havoc on some teams plans. The Simpsons made a statement in weak 1 with a 24-0 victory over Anchorage that they are here to play some football.

The Jedi Order
Everybody knows about Mysterio and the Jedi Order by now. This team is loaded with talent having 10 S* and an incredible 9 on the defensive side of the ball. You will have to earn every yard against this Rebel defense. Mysterio always has a stud HB so look for Anakin Skywalker to challenge for Offensive League MVP. Simply put, this is one of the best teams in this tier.

Los Angeles Pain
5 S* on the roster to go along with a veteran coaching staff. Watch out for this team. They took Jedi Order to overtime in weak 1. With a few breaks here or there, they could take home a Championship Trophy.

Anchorage Ninjas
New, little known owner with an all CPU team. Good luck winning any games this season.

Prediction
This is the toughest division by far. The Simpsons, Pain and Jedi Order all have the ability to win the division. However, The Jedi Order has too much star power. Jedi Order will take the division but will suffer a few loses along the way.

Playoffs

I see the following seeds:

1. 1980s Run Stuffers: Don't look now, but Plan P is in full effect. Good luck scoring against this defense.

2. The Jedi Order: #2 due to having to play in the toughest division in the league. Defense is also ridiculously tough.

3. Northland Reavers: Winner of Alpha because the other teams are AWOL.

4. This will come down to Simpsons or LA Pain. Blue Ridge could make some noise but I think they lose to both LA and Simpsons. I am going with LA Pain due to more S* and a better coaching staff.

Round 1:
1980s vs LA Pain: This is going to be a tough game for both teams. 4 S* on LA's offense vs 5 S* on 1980s defense. The key will be 1980s offense tearing it up. 1980s wins.

Round 2:
Jedi Order vs Northland: 10 S* + a GLB2 Legend owner vs 0 S* and a newb owner....you know the outcome. Jedi will win by a landslide.

Championship Game:
1980s vs Jedi Order: This will be the 1st of many battles between the Rebel Scum and the Ultimate Weapon in the GLB2 Galaxy, Cybertron's defense. Both teams boast the 2 best defenses in Rookie, IMHO. Low, low, scoring game with the winner taking home the Championship Trophy on a last second field goal. Congratulations to......stay tuned!

Is this league dead? No response to the predictions?

Well.... LA Pain provided a surprise the first season they arrived, taking home the championship... you should be afraid with this reset team. Be very very afraid

1980s are afraid of no team! LA Pain will have their hands full with the Jedi Order. Don't underestimate the power of the Rebel Scum.

We wont... we just decided to lull them to a flase sense of security by aloowing them the OT win you see. We're nice people, despite the pain

This is a very tough league, after early weeks RNG and cheese, it will be very fun, can't wait for playoffs, will Simpson take revenge on Pain? Or will we win again?

I'm enjoying seeing all the predictions and ratings and by no means am "dead". This is a tough league and am excited for the challenge.

Looks like Alpha will probably field the wildcard team.

A lot of ball to play, Alpha may cannibalize it's self.

Good thing about playing in Beta is 2 teams suck.

And you're still not guaranteed a playoff spot.

Nobody is guaranteed a playoff spot in this league. If we pick up 2 other solid teams in the off season...good luck.
