And the season begins. This is gonna be a very top heavy league with Fury, Jedi Scum and of course, 1980s. I'll try to get a write up in before the games and predict the season results.

I think your guess on the season outcome is questionable at this time.

1. Is Fury even playing this season? If not, Northland is primed to walk through that Div into the playoffs.

If so, the battle for the Wildcard should be heated with at least two quality (fully rostered) teams in each div.

2. The Pain will be a factor. There's still some growing pains for the staff I'm sure but there are Chips under their belt and some S*s on the team.

Week 1 Predictions:

Alpha:
Fury vs Whoville
I don't know what's going on but Fury only has 2 human players on the team. They were talking mad smack before the season but it looks like they are whussing out and scaaared of the Run Stuffers. Whoville has a solid, experienced owner but it looks like they are taking the year off. They do have more human players than Fury though.
Whoville takes this victory and puts Fury behind the 8 ball.

PNM vs Northland
Another team, PNM, who has a solid, experienced owner but is not adding any human players. Northland is a one owner team and the team is filled with his players.
Northland wins

Beta:
1980s Run Stuffers vs Columbus
1st game of the season so anything can happen. 1980s has 6 S*, including 5 on defense and returns the best zone defensive coordinator in the GLB2 galaxy! Columbus has 1 S* and the roster is half full. They will be lucky to score 10 points.
1980s take the early lead in the division with a decisive victory.

Pasadena vs Blue Ridge
Pasadena has a 1st year head coach and half human roster, while Blue Ridge is a one owner team and the team is filled with his players.
Blue Ridge wins this game and sets up a future rival game with 1980s

Gamma:
The Jedi (Scum) Order vs Los Angeles Pain
Well, well, well....look who the dog dragged in. If it isn't my nemesis, the Jedi Order. They are bringing in the big dawgs this go around, with 10 S*, including a record 9 on defense! They will be a power and top contender in the ladder every season. Los Angeles Pain owner is new but has a GLB2 Legend GM and 5 S* of their own. They will be a tough competitor throughout the season, but they won't beat The Jedi Order.
Jedi Order starts off 1 - 0

Anchorage vs The Simpsons
Anchorage is an all CPU roster. Simpsons is pretty much a one man team with 3 S*. Simpsons should win this game although 1st games in rookie are always tricky.
Simpsons start off 1 - 0

Well Reavers won, I guess that's a start but didn't think a CPU team would be so close so kinda not sure just how well I did.

The 1st game in rookie is tough for even the best due to builds not being mature at all. S* teams don't see separation until around Seasoned or Journeymen.

Nope, probably off game problems, try to talk with owner/coaches. If you want them to release you we have space on Phoenix Nighthawks.

I didn't have much internet access this weekend. Last week - I thought we had a lot of Air's players...

now apparently I'm rotting a superstar there

Yeah...was hoping he would field a team. Looks like he created a bunch of rookie players and was going to add them to the roster but never got around to it. I remember him saying he was very busy in R.L. with moving.

Well I believe we had a contract offer out there for you. Could of been a helpful addition in our defense. Lol
