not sure if anyone can answer this. im assuming you should be able to.

say i created a pickup player today, play a pickup game tonight and convert him to a regular player, would i then be able to use the catchup player option to make him a sophomore for next season?

as long as you do it before tomorrow i believe so as he should count as a normal player. Though this is all complete speculation

It did work in case anyone was wondering.

Only reason I did that was to catch a s* up to my team

Love the pick up/catch up option we have now.

Anyone else tried this? I want to double check that converting today will still have the catch up option?

I think I only played 2 pickup games and then I converted him and today the pickup option was available

You could try it with a cheap k or something to test it for today. I would assume once converted the option would be available

Yep, just converted a blocking TE (beast) and signed him to the Drunks. He was ~halfway through Pro and I caught him up right after the conversion. I'm hoping I can get a bWR and bHB to at least Pro before the season starts.

Tried it just now, and the conversion is also free since only one PuP game is played. Really useful for teams filling holes
