I like juke and spin. They are fun to watch in the sim.

And I didn't see any change in spin between a high footwork and zero footwork back, so I don't see that as necessary to take the SA.

I don't think it does either. Certainly doesn't make the spin happen faster.

The problem with them is that while there are a few legit highlights. There are more little things it does that harms your team. Juke/Spin out of bounds short of the sticks. Juke/Spin behind the LoS when his normal path would have avoided the defender anyways, sometimes they juke/spin straight into a TFL, often it just gives the DL more time to break a block and get in on the play.

Juke and Spin are best when firing in 1 on 1 situations with a defender in front of them. All others can hurt the runner.


It's why I don't like them. They don't consistently benefit you. Not even close.

Power Through for Powerbacks is great. Juke/Spin suck. Why spend 6 SA points on something that might not help you on a single play all game long????

Surge is a consideration, but I think HTH/RW is better though I don't think they are great overall.

If they had blocking SAs for HBs, I'd get them instead.

Is it worth investing in Elusive Running if the HB doesn't get spin or juke? Can the HB still fake out the defender?

yes, the can still fake out guys... just like power running is still useful if you dont take power through
