Yo guys, what is the diference in coverage between quickenss and footwork? I know CBs probably should get both, but how many points in each? Which is the more important?

And what is the minimum and recommended physical atributes for a NON S* coverage CB? Is 70/70/70 quick/foot/speed ok? Im focusing on man awareness, coverage tech and deflection.

You probably can't afford 70/70/70 with elite Man Awarensss, Cover Tech and Deflection.

It seems the best cover CBs have really high Man Awareness (90+), with high 80s Cover Tech and Deflection and high 70s Footwork, Sprinting.

I've seen plenty with sub 50 Quickness.

Footwork is the most important physical hands down.

Anyone else with thoughts?

Judging by Victoria secrets combine you can get away with like 45 quickness/65 sprinting easily. No idea about the rest though

70/70/70 with 95 man awareness, 93 coverag and 70 deflect. I could lower quickness and increase footwork...

I can only speak to zone. So if you have a CB playing zone, zone awareness, quickness and footwork are THE most important skills. Max out zone and get the others to at least 70. Next is deflection, power tackling and tackle tech. You will give up a ton of catches in zone but if your player is in good position and can cut/turn quickly, he can knock the ball loose or deflect the pass. Next is balance, which is important for changing direction, cov tech, speed and interceptions. Speed isn't as important in zone because the player does not need to cover a large area of the field.

And I've learned with Plan H, max out pursuit on every single defensive player. Nothing worse than having a coverage corner sit there with his finger up his butt while a HB runs right by him. It's cheap and affordable.

What about for a PickUp FS (Zone I guess)?

Missing consistency, heart, and tackling, and BRB.

For a non situational CB I'd aim for something along these lines.

You can cut down on quickness without any big impact, and I might be contrarian here, but I don't think Coverage Tech is very useful against most opponents, so for CB's I typically only go with about 50-60 for most CB's. Even for a pass specialist CB I wouldn't go with more than 70 coverage tech.

If it's a heavy pass specialist you want more deflecting.
I can't really see what you're starting attributes or starting traits were for some reason.
Also that consistency so low is a HUGE problem. 3rd and 4th downs are the most important passing downs, and consistency has the biggest affect in late game, and 3rd and 4th down. CB's need at least 50, and if it's a heavy pass specialist you want 60 or more.

Consider using less speed, and the workhorse trait to give yourself some more confidence and then use the cap booster in deflecting.

But definitely over 90 deflecting, as thats the CB's most important attribute for winning the interaction against the receiver.

For a Pass specialist, I wouldn't have any BRB. For a Combo CB, I'd have BRB of 50. Anything in between seems like a waste. Either get it or don't. Same with Pursuit. Let the Combo CB build on your team get that.

Tackle Tech, Tackle Grip, Def Consis are all too low still.
