So, i love the idea of a captain, of course realistically captains should have good mental skills, also, we have a lot of builds with 1 in confidence, since is kind of useless in a lot of positions.

My idea is: Owner/GM/HC can delegate 3 players as Team Captains (O/D/S teams). Requirement: high chemistry.

They also need to choose a specific skill that the Captain will represent. (u will understand bellow) - optional, for nerf purpuses.


-For exemple: A heart based captain would reduce the morale loss of teammates, based on the skill level (QB would boost the offense, etc...), a intimidation LB would increase defense intimidation, and so on...

-individually, they could gain a huge morale boost and consistancy skills bonus + salary increase.

Of course the bonuses for teammates should be low, but it could have a nice impact on the game, and should only be relevant with high mental skills, at least 50 to give a somewhat significant bonus.

This is essentially what high contracts do.

Great idea. It's better than high contracts. It covers the whole team.

High contracts give heart bonus and chemistry recovery rate individually, this would be a bonus to the team, also making mental skills more relevant, also using toughness and intimidation, even allowing to make a build with some mental based signature abilitties.

Wouldn't this make mental skills less relevant, as you concentrate investment in them on three players instead of the whole team?

I think that it could allow all players to hit a high cap, the captains would really invest in it, but the other players could get something like 50-60ish, if they desire to have a "mental build", a high intimidation defense would destroy the morale/energy of a offense with low toughness and players that only uppgrade physical/technical skills.
