Just curious how important balance is for DE/LB/CB/SS and FS positions, and if so how high should it be taken on those positions?

And does balance have an impact on making successful tackles at higher tiers vs power backs?

Not very important. It only comes into play in blocking interactions, and after interceptions. It may have a slight affect on movement in general but I doubt it. The tackle roll does not include balance as far as I know.

I was always curious because of the hit interaction. I didn't know if a power rusher having high power running and high balance would just bowl over a defender that has little to no balance.

Balance is helpful for run defense. Pass defense it's negligible.

i had some cbs i decided to take balance to 50 instead of 20 and they dropped 5%-10% off there completion allowed percent. now i have no clue if that was the exact reason why or not but it did show up. in coverage i have a test cb that i am focusing on vertical and balance and see if it really helps any.

Yes. If the tackler has no balance they will get thrown to the ground. High balance and tackle grip helps bring down power backs.

Balance definately helps on pass defense. It allows the DB to turn faster.

I did the same with pick up player CBs. Balance and Vert and even snap seem to be more important than I previously thought.

Actually that's footwork that helps with turning faster. Its the same for receivers trying to turn and make a catch.
