You can't add a FB to the HB depth chart. The general rule is that players can play down tiers but not up (with exceptions). Be sure to check depth chart options when planning.

If you have no HB on your roster and 2 FB, you can add your blocking FB to the FB depth chart and no one to the HB depth chart and your other FB will play HB.

This is all an attempt to save salarie cap for more *S.

1 HB S*
1 FB Rushing/Return
1 FB Blocking

This is my preferred set up, except the FB only returns kicks.

One I found was a DE can't play DT (except in 5-2). There are also many places where equal tiers can play in the other's position (TE at WR, SS at FS, etc.).

TE at WFB from Southside's game today

Definitely makes the Diamond formation more interesting...

Looking at their traits the FB has all the HB does plus some. I'm starting to wonder if you could use a FB at many positions like TE HB FB. that would save a considerate amount of money. And if using S* one player can have a S* QB and S* FB (With HB traits).

Not that pick up player games make a huge difference, but I noticed my catching FB was often placed in RTE position and did quite well.
