Warrior General Games

I know there are are quite a few people that have tried to make a Zone defense work. I was planning on trying out some ideas with zone CB builds, and was wondering which teams are currently running Zone defensive teams? Anyone have any sustainable success with them yet?

They finished #2 in the vet ladder season 13

They have mainly ran only 2 different defensive plays all season. Both zone.

My sophomore team, though several key players won't be caught up till next season

For those that have made Zone defenses work, what are you feelings on them? Like them more than MtM?

Zone has better blitz options. A lot better blitzing options.

I think there is a lot of untapped potential in zone defenses. Man to man is the safer and easier choice, but if built and coordinated correctly a zone defense can be pretty dangerous.

I feel as though my D is just getting started... and I'm still 2nd in yards allowed after facing HoF and Cunning Stunts...so there's that. (with my O not knowing how to stay on the field too )

Maybe this thread will make GE's ears burn...
