Like will I lose games for having TE's at those positions
Forum > FAQ's, Player Guides and Game Help > Is the OOP penalties huge for a TE playing 4/5 WR and FB?
I don't believe it is too significant -- but SA's don't work when OOP (though I'm not sure - a blocking SA might work on a TE playing FB..but a blocking SA does not work on a TE playing WR)

I used a TE in the WR spot on Hostile Takeover all the time, and we'd consistently compete for a top 10 ladder, and probably higher if I actually game planned.

But a Rec SA should work fine on a TE playing WR. But its likely a recipe for disaster letting anyone play WR5 the formation is just too vulnerable to the blitz.

whatever position you're playing, that's the position who's SA pool you'll be able to access.
so like, a TE playing WR can use first step, but not pancake chef. etc
