Possibly related to the counter fix? Watch the ILBs and safety.

The force was strong with that HB

But broken tackles still count more than average ypc, total yards, and TDs for MVP rankings.

Won't somebody think of the elusive backs?

True, and mine breaks more than many, but he lost out on MVP last season to a guy w/ 100 more carries, 400 less yards, and 4 fewer TDs. The only metrics the power back did better were YACON, TFLs, and broken tackles. I don't know what the math is for MVP ranks but it's pretty much skewed towards power backs right now.

I think the game also takes into account quality of opponents in which the stats were accumulated - but there's definitely an element of strength of schedule in the list - which is why the top of the HoF is Vet players with worse stats than seasoned or sophomore players. So if you were racking up a ton of yardage against a weak opponent, it wouldn't mean as much as against a stronger opponent.

Wes Craven, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Barry Sanders each was #1 in the HoF in Seasoned, Pro, and Sophomore respectively last season, all of them are elusives.

So what's everyone's opinion on the counter sniffing? I'm not the only person who thinks they are still the cat's meow of outside rushes.

Maybe add the Flea Flicker so counters aren't the most OP thing out there?

Might want to double check that. Jebuiz was 4th. Oxlade was número uno.

If the virgins ever found out the fatal flaw of their team they'd actually be relevant.
