I've played here and there but never full committed to GLB2. Thinking about giving it a shot for next season.

Whats some advice you vets can give me. From building to play calling.

TIA

Start recruiting now to fill roster unless you plan on filling entire roster yourself. Also, establish connections in game, helps fill roster as well.

also, read:

for playcalling, just watch a few rookie games by the current top few... you'll learn specific plays/schemes to spam

builds are more complicated... a good rule of thumb is check out the open builds on the top HoF guys... should give you a basic template of areas you should focus on

Not that I want self promotion, but I will let the members speak for themselves, but I truly do believe a membership to GLB2Scout helps.

What does it do? Obviously scout, but how in depth?

glb2scout helps stopping specific plays or learning good ones, but you can learn that if you watch enough tape

Madison has been pretty successful without the use of GLB2scout

There is quite a bit built into the tool.

Virtual Player Builder : Allows you to play with builds without actually creating players
Virtual Roster Builder : Essentially this is a salary cap tester but can be used to build out a roster
Play Analyzer : Get play specific play A versus play B information across many levels.
Team Scout : Get team scout information broken down (lots of info there)
Watch Party : See what games are lined up for the day
Historical Stats : See play information across a season for meta trends
Player Stats : Basically a stats page for players
Power Ranker : Fun rankings to try and give more volume to 'why' my team is better.

The tool isn't providing anything you can't do on your own or even with the GLB tools, but what it does provided is fast information. So many times I hear it allows people to go from 2-3 hours scouting down to 10-15 min max. But... as I said, nothing new in the tool you can't do for yourself

glb2scout is a great way to exchange money for time. You give stobie a few bucks and his tool can scout dozens of games in seconds for you and gives you the information in nice little digestable tables. It's a great tool if you don't have the time to watch tons of games.
