Firstly, chemistry isn't 5%.

Secondly, diversity bonus is much larger than chemistry.

I just find it humorous that one is singlehandedly everything that's wrong with the entire game, whereas the other "has no effect". Groupthink, it's what's for dinner.

Thank you.

At least we have some perspective now.

Right that actually helps us. No I don't think we should get an exact number at all. But to know that it's more than 5% and more the Chem does help us

If the goal of the diversity bonus is to promote teams mixing up their offense more...

wouldn't it be more effective if we knew (as examples)

'to approach a diversity bonus (which can be +15% or whatever) - you should shoot for 70/30 pass/rush and have at least 10 plays in each book...

I probably run one of the more diverse successful offensive schemes as far as using more different plays in my offenses than most. But I couldnt even begin to recognize whether or how the diversity bonus effects them due to the fact I have no idea what Im looking for or how it works.

Yeah, this is it, we don't have any general idea of how it works. It just happened that one day we were told "hey theres a diversity bonus now, enjoy" and we're left making assumptions on how it's supposed to work

I run a fairly diverse offense, and I have noticed that my team typically does better in the 2nd half. But there are so many variables, it's hard to know what's really making plays work/not work.

So my take is that it probably works, but we can't point to specific plays where it was the determining effect.

I have a team with 7 different skin colors on it. I can't be more diverse.

Considering my Swampcats have improved significantly since the bonus was announced, scoring wins vs Animal Kingdom, Erkner 2x, and Hawaii and only narrowly losing to Bronx(at the height of their streak by 4) and BSB(by 3 in the championship) last season, and big wins vs Animal Kingdom, Hawaii, and BSB thus far this season, I do think the bonus has some effects. But how much effect is from the diversity bonus, and how much is from the various other sim changes, our free agent acquisitions, player builds coming to fruition, and just our refining of our own coordinating skills is pretty impossible to discern.

Feels like GLB1 again. Instead of fixing the root of the issue we get a magic bonus called Diversity.
