How serious of an offense is this? Got a contract offer from a human-owned team in a rookie league where I have players on another human team. I feel like this is a conflict of interest, but I always feel like it's better to not be on a CPU team if possible.

It happens very very often. I would not worry about it. There are even people that coordinate teams in the same league...

once i commited to 3 teams before teh season and they all got placed into the same league. it happens alot i have seen where some one was gming a team and got a new team. tehy where placed in the same league
