man - had one of my greatest GLB games ever against Richmond Rockets. I didn't game plan over the weekend and had an early match this morning -- so I didn't have a great run stopping defense in and they ran all over me.

Somehow pulled off a 28 point second half -- and a 63% completion rate to come up with a win. Fun game (one where I clicked the box score at half time losing by 11 and getting destroyed by the run and was shocked to see that we won somehow).

With 1 ladder game to go (since i lost in the playoffs) - I hit 20 wins -- which I'm pretty happy with -- but also shows (as my rookie spam post indicates) what I believe to be true: A few passing plays are just too overpowered in rookie.

I hit 20 wins which I'm happy about // bothered by since it was really too easy. I know there are some changes I could have made to maybe get to 23 wins or so - but I think in general this was a pretty weak rookie class.

Pink and Black Attack is 21-8-1 - and waiting to play their championship game. They lost to GE today (like I did). It is my opinion that the mostly CPU defense struggles the most against QB running teams late in the season. Just too many points spent in skills that don't impact the QB rushers as much.

Good luck to PABA -- they are sitting at #9 so I expect if they can win their league they will lock up a top 10 finish which I'm impressed by.

Fvck Off is 17-11 -- think they lost just a little bit of steam. Might have been when Muttley was out of town or something. Still a solid season though for a CPU challenge squad that I think mostly coasted with a game plan. They will not be playing in the championship game.

All in all: I'm thinking 21 wins / 20 wins / 17 wins -- a solid outing.

Also at this point - I'm happy to declare Nigerian Nightmare the WINNER of the season 13 CPU Challenge. He is the only team to make the championship game -- and is also the highest ranked ladder. Congrats Nigerian! Good coaching! Good player building! You are the CHAMPION.

yeah i dont think i ever changed fvck offs game plan.

Rushing QBs still need some sort of GPing especially with a CPU oline. Think with this challenge going for something that to dominate propbably requires more than 10 players is tough.

If we were to do again definitely as you say just go for QB, WR3, TE, TE, some defense like a blitz LBer and your offense will do well

This is what I went with. Overall I think we did real well. Benefit from possibly a poor division but it helped us as we gained SP. One thing I notice was other teams OL became tougher as the season went on.

Thanks guys. It was fun. Definitely for tough at the end. I was game planning hard. Qb runs were definitely tougher late in the season to defend. The running game was also hard to defend late in the season. Overall defense felt more difficult late in the season. Overall a very good and challenging experience, definitely worth it.
