Just what skills make this work successfully? I know you can build it on power backs fairly easy, but what about a speed back? Would a high elusiveness score work? or does it require high balance or toughness?

Does a speed back need much balance? I know power backs need large amounts, but it seems like to me a good speed back isnt about trying to stay upright from the initial hit so much as he is about just trying to avoid contact altogether?

My opinion is that balance is an awesome skill for all rushers. As for stiff arm I would be tempted to say that it "should" have more opportunities to fire on an elusive HB as he is going to be hit from the side more often thanks to juke and all. Just what I would assume as I have not had stiff arm on an elusive HB at this point.

Stiff Arm says it is powered by Carrying Awareness.

I experimented once with Stiff Arm on a speed back, but he tended to fall down when it fired off.

Watch Jebuiz run and you'll see why it belongs almost exclusively on power backs. I had it on an elusive guy and it almost never broke tackles, on Jebuiz it almost always results in a broken tackle, sometimes two. He has 66 power rushing 50 balance. The reduced tackle roll effect seems to work on the tackle roll based on power rushing.
