I was just looking at the offensive MVP race in Ash. Predictably, two QBs lead the way with huge TD and yardage totals. What's surprising to me is the TE at #3 getting the edge over my HBs.

To be fair we've had 3 CPUs in 4 league games, but that's exactly why I was expecting to see at least 1 HB crack the top 3. Bo Jackson has a pretty big edge on El Cuņado in Yards and TDs (+400 and +8 through 4 league games). The TE gets credit for catches, but that's offset at least some by the HB's broken tackles. +20 in 1st downs for the TE. Way more YAC for the HB.

Really just curious if others think this seems reasonable. I feel like maybe rushing needs a little more credit in the MVP calcs, so it's not impossible for HBs to win anything.

TE probably isn't getting any credit for receptions. But he is definitely getting credit for a tougher schedule. Your HB isn't getting any credit for broken tackles either.

Two seasons ago we had a HB-dominated MVP Race with Super Gamble, Jimbo Jumpjack, etc.

In Velociraptor, Richmond's two HBs occupy two of the top three spots.

It's probably good the way it is - generally QBs win more MVPs than HBs anyway.

Ah thanks, hadn't considered SOS being in the calcs, but makes perfect sense it would be.

Yeah I'm good with QBs winning the awards when they're putting up such crazy stats.

Ya pretty sure it is just yards, TD's, the % of which you make up for your team statistics, and SoS when it comes to HB, WR, QB.

Pancakes and such then probably come into account for TE as well.
