I was just trying to explain why. I'm not expecting agreement.

Anyway, while Diamond is more top heavy than Sapphire, Sapphire is deeper overall - hence the higher average rank - but you do have to go through all the teams to get to that conclusion.

Hmm, this boils down to ICK and Drunks doing slightly better in ladder than I thought they were whereas North Texas, Parental Advisory, Niagara, and Gunslingers slightly worse.

Sapphire's also a bit buoyed by Providence still being ranked in the 20's, despite being inactive for a month. Would've thought they'd drop faster.

ICK isn't sneaky good, they're random as hell and wildly inconsistent. Their offense is anywhere from utterly awful to "good because they caught the defense with their pants down." On one hand ICK beat DA, on the other hand they tied Heroine Hero.

I swear they just have a big roulette wheel or dartboard or something with random offensive and defensive tactics/playbooks, and that's how they gameplan.

I wanna say a better example of a sneaky good team is Whoville or MMArmy or the Beers.

If Diamond has a third of their teams in the top 8, but Sapphire has a higher average rank, then Saphire must be much, much deeper. Because math.
