What kind of question is this?

You can cut a player whenever you want at any point in the season or offseason.

Maybe use more words next time.

brain fart.... i guess it's the whole signing thing thats cutoff before playoffs

can you re-sign for a higher contract the entire season?

Once the playoffs start things freeze in regards to signing new players but you should be able to negotiate with your current players without any issues.

cool...

I've never had to adjust contracts/drop people late season, but with a player going legend, he might get dropped for playoffs with his low chem, so i might have to play with stuff
